A great base for water sports, beachcombing, making sand castles, kite flying, chilling, relaxing, sunbathing or just watching the tide ebb and flow. Pagham's harbour is host to a nature reserve with resident and migrating birds and seals, whilst the beach boasts a memorial for the little boats that sailed from the area to evacuate troops from Dunkirk. Off shore a mulberry harbour is visible, left during Operation Overlord in WW2, this also serves a tide marker.
